For two consecutive years, Zé Ricardo signed the artistic direction
of the UBC awards ceremony where the Brazilian Union of Composers
honors some of the main MPB living icons. In 2018, Erasmo Carlos was
honored, and in 2019 it was Milton Nascimento's turn. Zé was invited
by the CEO of UBC, Marcelo Castelo Branco, to create concerts where great
names from Brazilian music travel throughout the work of celebrated artists,
singing their most emblematic songs. Emphasizing their musical greatness.
Gilberto Gil, Maria Rita, Ludmila, João Bosco, Emicida, Rael, and Ney Matogrosso
are some of the names included in each edition of these concerts. LEVE signed all
artistic productions for this award, which is one of the most important Brazilian
music awards in the country.
